Job Title: Compliance Reporting Specialist (DOT)

Position Summary:  Responsible for the initial, semi-annual, quarterly, and monthly third-party reporting and analysis of drug and alcohol compliance and testing information for DISA Transportation customers. This Specialist is also responsible for helping clients maintain their DOT Compliance. 

 

Essential functions and responsibilities:

·        Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations and the elements of an effective compliance program

·        Meet established compliance reporting deadlines

·        Work with customers, account managers and other stakeholders to ensure on-going compliance and satisfactory ratings for a large book of business

·        Work directly in DISA360, DCM and other third-party applications (Veriforce, NCMS) to meet specific reporting requirements

·        Update DOT plans/policies as needed

·        Completion of other projects/duties as assigned by leadership

·        Analyzes compliance data and prepares reports in third-party applications

·        Responsible to help clients maintain DOT compliance

·        May assist in the implementation of quality improvement processes

 

Qualifications required:

·        High School Diploma or GED

·        Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·        Two to three years of DOT regulatory and compliance experience

·        Superior writing skills and the ability to define issues, outline applicable rules, make pro/con arguments, and communicate sound conclusions based upon sound judgement

·        Ability to communicate and influence using sound emotional intelligence

·        Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        Structured work methods to meet deadlines with quality deliverables

·        Drug and alcohol testing software experience

·        Strong written communication skills

 

Qualification Desired

·        Prior DISA360 experience

·        Three years of DOT regulatory and compliance experience
