Provide direct support for the procurement and supply of Packaging and Ingredients, and other tasks as assigned. Provide clerical and administrative support to Supplier Development. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of clerical experience in a purchasing department.


  • Maintain packaging data base, including verification of critical specifications
  • Maintain files for approved artwork, color standards and signoffs of graphic files for various packaging items
  • Receive non-stock purchase orders, transfer artwork, and maintain artwork/invoice tracking sheet
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies as necessary
  • Maintain artwork in SharePoint and Creative Services
  • Maintain files for sample packaging materials
  • Create and support purchase order cataloging system
  • Manage Service Level Notification process, track responses and closure notifications
  • Support purchasing function with materials inventory and usage reports
  • Provide support for package change introductions by evaluating and monitoring existing inventory, as well as planning the timing of replacement materials
  • Generate quarterly obsolete inventory report; coordinate with buyers and warehouse to remove obsolete inventory
  • Provide contract negotiation support
  • Conduct occasional research and data analysis required in support of Management
  • Provide routine and standard information exchange between Operations and Suppliers
  • Respond to Marketing and Sales inquiries; send out graphics files, specifications and material samples as requested
  • Perform other clerical and administrative duties, including but not limited to, file maintenance, department correspondence, FedEx and mail, miscellaneous purchases, and receipts, etc.

  • 3+ years clerical experience in purchasing or related field preferred
  • High School Diploma Required / College Degree Preferred
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize work independently
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management both internally and externally
  • Sound analytical skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint


  • Primary work activities are within an office environment
