Deal Desk/ Quoting Administrator

We're looking for a Deal Desk / Quote Administrator (aka Quoting Ninja) to join our growing Sales Operations team. In this role, you'll support three key objectives

  • Increase sales efficiency and effectiveness, 
  • Improve business processes and deal consistency, and 
  • Standardize terms of deals while enforcing minimum contracting standards.

As our Deal Desk / Quote Administrator, you'll strategically partner with internal stakeholders, with a primary focus on our more complex selling motions and deal constructs. You'll offer guidance and partner with cross-functional teams to drive deal execution while complying with company policies and procedures. Successful candidates have a passion for navigating complex deal structures and experience working with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Executive teams to support sales motions.


How you'll lead

  • Serve as the trusted adviser to Sales and Client Success/Renewal Teams on all Deal and Quote related matters
  • Manage the day-to-day quote management, pricing approvals, ensuring compliance with published sales and business approval policies
  • Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert on quote creation and questions, special pricing, deal processes, approval policies, and troubleshooting of quoting issues and sales escalations
  • Actively participate in deal reviews with sales teams, and management
  • Collaborate with sales / legal / finance to identify acceptable solutions,  resolve complex contract issues and develop solutions in compliance with business practices and policies
  • Cultivate internal relationships with all levels of the sales organization
  • Work as the primary liaison between multiple groups, such as revenue, sales ops, legal, pricing, to help facilitate the deal process
  • Identify and make recommendations for process improvements; assist or drive implementation
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the sales team
  • Utilize Salesforce CPQ, ensuring Quotes and Order Forms are approved within pricing and discount policies, duly executed and filed in accordance with established processes


What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Deal Desk function with a large sales team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Solid understanding and experience with CPQ (configure, price, quote) tools and quote to cash process knowledge
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior experience collaborating across Sales, Legal, and Finance
  • Positive team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations
  • Flexible and supportive in a fast-moving and changing environment
  • Collaborative participation in identifying and suggesting possible resolution in system gaps and processes to better streamline efficient workflow
  • Experience using Salesforce, Zuora, or comparable CPQ tools is required

This role will report to our Director of Operations, and you will have an opportunity to
share your preferred remote working location from the EST or CST time zone.
